Default Night settings for 3040Z

What are some suitable exposure and aperture and focus settings for night divers with an Olympus 3040Z with DS 50 strobe and aiming light?

Default TTL

I would put the camera in P (auto) exposure mode, turn on the "fill/forced flash" (lightning bolt icon), set the strobe to TTL, and shoot very close-up or macro. With little or no ambient light, the TTL features of this camera/strobe combination usually work well.

As for focus, you'll need your aiming light for the camera to auto focus. It will also help get the strobe pointed in the right direction.
