The Monterey Bay aquarium in California has some incredible displays. Taken with a Pentax K10D, Tamron 18-250, ISO 800. Slight noise reduction.

Beautiful clear color and detail. I love the jellies at that aquarium.

Honored by American Photo Images of the Year contest. I was never so shocked in my life to find this picture as an Honorable Mention in the current issue of American Photo Images of the Year contest winners. I call attention to this because I think we all wonder at times whether our photographs are any good. I am still turning to the page and pinching myself that I am included.Found it out at a Barnes and Noble while my kid was using his Christmas present to buy books. Just casualy looking at photo magazines and saw my picture. Started to laugh out laugh. You just never know.

Thanks. The snow lady is covered this winter as she is showing her age from the snows. I'll look for a spring picture to see how her timeless beauty is doing.
