Fantastic! 1 & 2 are clearly the best, especially the purple jelly fish.

hi, glad someone liked them, will try and post a few more...

we were in Nabq bay just off the end of the hotel jetty, they were still not letting you go over the actual reef, but at the end of our hotels jetty if you went about 20feet or so to the left there were a few small reef type of things with lots of fish.

the best thing i saw all holiday but unfortunately did not get the chance to take any pictures of was looked like a big manta ray that was swimming about on my last full day, it was swimming about under and around our jetty, it was about 4feet across, fantastic thing to look at swimming about in the wild like that!

When I was there it was prior to Israel giving back the Sinai. There were no restrictions where you could swim. I was only snorkeling and enjoyed swimming over the bubbles of the divers below. The coral area is where most of the fish are. Too bad you couldnt swim there. What was the reason you couldnt swim over the reef? I think Nabq was called Nama Bay by the Israeli's

it was due to the shark attacks back in December.

when i was there last March (2010) you could swim over the reef, that was very good, hopefully when i go back they will have removed the restrictions.

Edit:

no Nabq bay is about 30mins drive from Naama Bay, not as built up or commercialised as Naama Bay
