What sort of site are you looking to put together? Building a website can be daunting depending on what you want to put into it. If you can give me your short-list of what you are looking for I can either point you in the right direction or help put it together.

Dreamweaver is an excellent program but it also has a pretty steep learning curve. I suggest playing with Dreamweaver and learning what most of the menus and buttons do, this will help out when you finally get the site together.

If you want, take a look at this site http://porterphotography.net. This may give you some ideas of what you want (or don't want) to do.

Just a basic photography site with

Home

Gallery

Links

Info Sections

Nothing to complicated...I'm only just learning to use CS2 and Dreamweaver..

Thanks for your help...

Hi Dave, I looked at the website and it is a beautifully designed website...I don't think i need anything so complex as i'm basically using it for storage and friends viewing until i become better at photography...

Thanks

I would also be very pleased to accept your help as much as possible..Thankyou once again

If it's primary purpose is to showcase your images, you may find that using a product designed for that purpose is an easier way to go.

Here is one popular (and free) product that can generate web pages for photo albums (and you'll also see a lot of different skins available):
