Hi Everyone. This is Andy. I posted a help question yesterday and got a prompt response. I have Canon T1i. It seems pretty complex if I want to use all the available features. I plan to take a short course in using DSLRs.

Welcome to the forums Andy. We have a number of Canon shooter here that I'm sure would be happy to help out, and we'll look forward to seeing some of your progress as you become more familiar with your T1i (which is a very nice camera within it's price range).
