From the sleepy hamlet known a Bolton near Manchester in the Uk..

One wife, two daughters, one dog, one cat and one caravan (yes, i'll
have to appologise for that first off i'm afraid).

Bit of a motorhead, weapon of choice is a Nikon D90 if i can ever figure
which end to point at things. I've tinkered a little with Photoshop but
sadly not enough to make millions with.

Thats about all i can think of at the mo, so if someone would kindly point
me in the general direction of the bar i'll get a drink and have a mooch
about...

Welcome to the forums Rob! If you've got questions about your new gear, we've got a number of helpful photographers here who can help you out down in either the Nikon forum if it's a question about the camera itself or in the GENERAL or genre specific (people, landscape, wildlife etc...) forums that can help you out with most questions.
