Hello my beauties as the great Freddie Mercury once said

Thought I would pop my head round the door to say hello and introduce myself.
Well my name is Steve and I live in Cornwall, UK, hence the name Pastieman as the best pasties are made in Cornwall and I am a man.
Married to Karen with two grown up kids and to date one grandchild.
I have been taking photo's for over 30 years, and one day hope to get good at it, currently use a Nikon D90, not really got a set subject I am interested in so will take photo's of anything and everything that takes my fancy.

Pleased to join this forum, I have used this site whenever I have needed to find a review of cameras I wished to buy and have headed many to this site for info.
Looking forward to showing some of my shots and joining in with the forum

forgive me, as i am across the water here in the states, and i have heard the word pastie used for many things. i assume you are talking about the meat pie type dish? not sure if that is the correct description.

Hi, yeah you got it, the were made for the tin miners many years ago so they had a good meal while underground with a hard crust around the outside so they didn't get their dirt hands on the main meal, this consisted of dinner at one end of the pastie and pudding/sweet at the other end.

Welcome in Pastieman I love pie but the meat and raisin ones no way I am sure we will enjoy what ever photos you have to share with us and any good and bad issues and as well pros and cons of the actual subject at hand cams lens places and photos skills ...
