I would like someone to tell me that the G7 will take better photos in low light then the S3. The Zoom is not that big a deal but I take a lot of nature shots and want a good camera for moving targets. Which one excells?

The image quality of the G7 is somewhat better than that of the S3, because its 1/1.8" sensor is larger than the 1/2.5" sensor of the S3. Video quality of the G7 may be slightly better and it has an additional 1024x768@15 fps movie mode. Finally the build quality of the G7 is better and it is more compact. On the other hand, the S3 has twice the zoom range and a swivel display, which makes it a significantly more versatile cam.
