I am looking for a camcorder that I can use outdoors in different lighting conditions to record golf swings. The recordings will then be incorporated with an existing software package to analyze those swings for the student. We would also like to provide a CD copy of the swing and program analysis to the student.

It is my understanding to pick up the golf shaft during the swing to show shaft loading, the camcorder must have at least 30 frames per second.

If it helps, this is all the camera will be used for (no weddings or vacations, etc) and will be in temperatures from above 40-100 F.

We would like to keep it between the 3-$500 range if possible.

We have both firewire and USB connections available on our laptop.
Thanks for your assistance,
