I am trying to choose between these three cameras. My last camera was a olympus C765, which I loved for the zoom and hated for the shutter lag time. I take pictures mostly or the outdoors, family and kids sports. Any input into which of these camers would be a good choice would be much appreciated.

The only advantage that the SP-510 has over the S3 IS and the DSC-H2 is that it might take the same type of memory card as your old camera used. Otherwise, you should probably factor it out of the equation. The S3IS and the DSC-H2 have superior zooms and a slew of manual features that you can use if you wish (or shoot in auto if you prefer). The advantage to having manual modes is that they allow the camera to grow with you, and offer extended opportunities to be creative.

I'd probably go with the DSC-H2 by virtue of the fact that it's probably $100 or so cheaper than the Canon. if they're closer in price, i'd be prone to side with the canon.
