Good day.

I recently purchased (and subsequently sold) a Canon SD900 that I used for SCUBA photography. I was concerned with a really disliked the CCD light bleed phenomenon (red/purple streaks displayed on LCD or recorded to video when shooting into a bright light area).

Yesterday, I purchased a SD750 hoping that the issue would be resolved - only to find it is WORSE. I can barely see an image in the LCD when shooting into a bright light area.

I am seriously considering returning it for a SD800 IS (mainly for wide angle and IS) but am still concerned about the CCD bleeding issue.

I am a true Canon fan - but quite frustrated with this issue.

Can anyone advise me of a Canon model or a different brand that does NOT encounter this issue - that can ALSO (mainly) be used for SCUBA diving as well?

many thanks and keep up the great work!
