When I tried to read about underwater photography, I have the impression that in order to have a good shot the camera must be able to do it with High ISO Rating and High Shutterspeed. That is why I asked this here.
Now it's:
Big Aperture + High Shutterspeed + Low ISO = Good Underwater Shots
+ Underwater Lights = Better Underwater Shots

I must agree that there is always a "green tint" whenever I take underwater pictures.

I am planning to buy a new digital camera. I have an underwater pack. Whether the camera is waterproof or not, it's no problem for me. What's important for me is I get the correct specification.
My question:

Should I look for a digicam that have the biggest aperture and highest shutterspeed for my underwater purpose?
I think almost all (if not all) digicam have low ISO rating.

What kind of underwater external light should I buy?

I hope other experts here would help me out learn about some basics of underwater photography.

You'll probably get more response by posting in the underwater photography forum here:
