Hello all,

I'm looking for a good decent priced camera (2-300) at about 6-7MP. The camera must be about .5" in thickness.

Any recomendations?

I dont know if there more than .5" thick, but any of the Casio Exlim models probably would fit that description.

That seems pretty thin for a camera. The Sony W-55 is I believe .7 of an inch thick, and it is one of the smallest cameras I know of right now. Perhaps others are that thin.

My wife has an Exilim camera (EX-S500), which is 0.5" thick, and she loves it for its small size, reliable auto operation and best shot scene modes. I found a leather tobacco pouch to use as a case, and it is still only 0.9" thick with the case, so it goes easily in her purse or my pocket. The latest in this line is the EX-S880 (8mp), but the EX-S770 and EX-S600 would be good buys. Other good points are large LCDs, rapid focus and low shutter lag.

Try the Casio Exilim Card line of cameras if small is your main requirement.
