Hey recently I owned a sony cybershot DSC W-70 and loved it however it recently fell in a fish pond (long story) and so I am without a camera. I was planning on buying the upgraded DSC W-90 but I am also into photography and am looking for a camera that is still compact and can fit in my purse or pocket but has some manual controls. I especially want a camera with a longer exposure of 15 - 30 sec. that I can control and one that is good at shooting at night as well as sunsets/sunrises because my sony was horrible at that. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good compact camera between the $200-350 range? (I am a poor college student afterall.)

Thanks so much for your help! I really appreciate it.

Take a look at the thread called "Looking for a point and shoot camera up to U$S 150.00" That might provide just the answer you are look for in your search.
