The Nikon just came out and hasn't been professionally reviewed. Based on the user comments I've read, it looks to be an excellent camera. I'm particularly interested in whether it's at least on a par with the Canon with regard to picture quality and low-light performance (the Nikon L10, L11 and L12 had problems focusing in low light). I'm also curious whether the Nikon has less of a problem with flash recycling time than the Canon.

If you look at the review conclusion sections here (last page before the sample images in every review), you'll usually see flash recycle times discussed.

The review conclusion section is where you'll find comments on things like image quality, autofocus speed and reliability, cycle times between photos in various modes, flash usability/recycle times and more.
