I have a rather unusual requirement, I want to put a compact digicam in a model plane/glider to take aerial photos.

The main requirements are that the camera should be reasonably small and light, but the features that I am in particular looking for are the ability to take full resolution pictures at a timed interval with a single push of the shutter button.

I can find plenty of cameras that will do time lapse photos, but they use single frames of the video recording function. I want to be able to take full frame pictures at one to a few seconds time interval.

The camera would have to be able to adjust exposure between shots and image stabilization would be advantageous, as would the ability to record good quality video also.

For obvious reasons, I don't want to spend too much!

Any ideas ?
