and which one is better buy ?
thank you very much.

#1> Canon 40D + Kit Lens EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS $1030

#2> Canon 40D + Lens Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM $1300

#3> Canon 450D + Kit Lens EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS $ 800

#4> Canon 450D + Lens Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM $1550

Which of theese would be my better bet ?
From the very beginning, you've been talking about not using flash. All the lenses, except the EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM, are too slow to do the kinds of photography you say you're interested in without flash. That leaves #4.

...i'm new in DSLR world so i need my camera to be easy to use, both the 450D and 40 D seems to have identical specs but i don't know why 40D is more expensive, can you described the differences ?
That's the primary difference between the 450D and the 40D. The 450D is easier to use.

For a more detailed answer, see EOS System Brochure Spring 2008 (Be careful. It's an 11.2MB PDF document!)
