Could you kindly recommend a good camera with a swivel or vari-angle LCD as Canon calls it. I was earlier using a Canon A610 and I am in love with this functionality.

Having this in mind and also the budget (around AUD $350-$450) I brought a new Canon S5 IS, but had to return it after a playing with it for week, seeing the graininess of the pictures (under low light & ISO speed above 100). It was big disappointment for me to see such bad image quality after been used to A610. I did like the S5 for its functionality & feel but was just not satisfied with the image quality.

Please provide me with your valuable suggestions.

Check out the Canon A650. It sells for around $300 US (not sure how that converts to your money).

The Canon S-5 also has a variangle LCD screen as well. It appears that the new Nikon P-80 might also have one as well, but that is still to be verified.
