Visit the library and pick up a general photography book. The basic principles haven't changed much. Another book that's been recommended on this board is Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson. I just started reading it and am finding it fascinating.

Greetings to all-

I promised to post a few shots from my recently purchased canon 40d but I haven't quite figured out how to do that on this site yet.

I have shot several hundred photos with my new camera, but admittedly have not strayed too far from auto focus.

A few keepers out of the bunch and would be happy to show if you could help me get them on!
