Is there a waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, practically indestructible camera out there that still takes decent pictures. Basically it needs to be a good field camera that science types can drop on the ground orin a creekand still take a clear picture even in the shade of a tree or on a rainy day. Needs to have macro capabilities and possibly a panoramic feature. We've used the Pentax Optio WPi and W10 with limited success. Are the more recent W30 or W60 better? Also considering the Olympus Stylus 790 or 1030. Comments on these camera or suggested alternatives would be awesome.

The Olympus Stylus 1030SW looks like the best rugged compact camera around.
