Hi All,

First I just wanted to say how amazingly complete this forum is. It's been very helpful, but still a lot of choices to go through, so perhaps people have some suggestions.

I'm looking for a pocket hybrid that I can travel with for work. I go places where there may not even be electricity, so being able to use standard batteries is very desirable. Also, I encounter lowlight situations quite often and I need good still pics as well. So below is the wish list and let's see what people reccomend....

Currently I have an Aiptek 2.4, but I'm not real happy with either it's still pics or low light video ability. So far I'm leaning towards a Canon Powershot A1000 or A2000 (AA batteries)? Or maybe a Mustek DV550 (uses AAA)?

- Uses standard batteries (AA or AAA)
- Pocket sized
- Compressed video
- Removeable storage cards
- Good still pics
- Good low light capability
- Price not really an issue (work's paying for it)

If it wasn't for the battery req., I'd probably be looking at the Sanyo Xacti lineup, or maybe the Canon TX-1?

Thanks in advance for any help!
