Okay, I've narrowed my choices down to:

The Nikon P90 (due out March/April)

Fuju S100FS

I am downgrading from a D200 (please don't ask why. That's not important).

If you were used to handling a dSLR, which would you get?

If physical camera size and weight is not important. If CA or purple fringing and a reduced battery life are not issues for you, then you should clearly opt for the Fuji S-100fs.

I own and use the Nikon P-80. The P-90, excepting for the lens is just an upgraded P-80. IThe P-80 is an excellent fast to focus and easy to use out of doors camera. However, if you are interested is low light level shooting and using ISO settings above ISO 400, it is a poor choice.

OK, I won't ask...so don't ask me why I think your process of elimination is totally irrational.

IMO, Nikon's P80 was a disaster when it came to high ISO photography - and by high ISO, I mean anything over ISO 200. Now they are putting a 24x zoom lens on the same camera - and cramming 2 more MP onto an already too small sensor...only bad things can happen here. No hot shoe, no RAW, no manual zoom ring, no redeeming social value... It hasn't been released yet, no one has reviewed it yet, it follows a complete failure...OK, I promised I wouldn't ask...
