Default macrotele p&s

Can anyone suggest Point and Shoot models that have good macro performance at the longer end of their zoom ranges? Years ago I had a Minolta D7i which had the feature but most I've seen recently seem to offer extreme macro only at the wide end so you might shoot at less than an inch but still not fill the frame with a small object. Since I went to DSLR's with interchangeable lenses for my coin photography, people ask for P&S camera recommendations and I can't help them. My DSLR rig will fill the frame with a penny at 9"; My first digital Nikon 990 did it at 3". What currently will fall in this range? Macro to a fraction of an inch is a worthless feature if light can't reach the subject because it is almost touching the lens.

The kodak Z-1012, Z-980 and the Sony H-50 all have a telemacro capability.
