Default Which Canon model should I Buy?

Plz Help me choose a canon model for my personal use. My requirements are listed below.

* What budget have you allocated for buying this camera? Please be as specific as possible.
Under $200. Preferably near to $150. But, If I am getting some good camera above $150, I can extend till 200.

* What size camera are you looking for? Or does size not matter at all to you?
Preferably Compact but within the budget.

How many megapixels will suffice for you? Anything >= 5MP

* What optical zoom will you need? (None, Standard = 3x-4x, Ultrazoom = 10x-12x) - Standard = 3x-4x

* How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10) = 8.5

Do you care for manual exposure modes (shutter priority, aperture priority, manual)? No

General Usage

* What will you generally use the camera for?
I am not a pro. Mostly, the camera will be used for still photos. But, camera must also deliver good videos. I’ll be using it on special occasions, vacations, etc.

* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
Rarely, and that too not bigger than 10x12

Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?
It won’t be lot, but yes definitely some amount of will be indoor photos in my house, my friend’s house, my relative’s house.

Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos? No

Are there particular brands you like or hate?
I am for Canon only.

Are there particular models you already have in mind?
Yes, SD1200, SD790, SD890, SD1100, SD770, A1000, A2000, A1100, A590, A480, or any of your valued suggestion.

(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features? (Wide Angle, Image Stabilization, Weatherproof, Hotshoe, Rotating LCD)
Red Eye Reduction is must. Image Stabilization is wanted but only if the budget permits.

Since no-one else responded yet, let me just suggest that the A480 meets all your requirements, and is enough under your budget that you'll be able to get a decent memory card and a carrying case as well. Read Steve's review, look at the sample photos, and see if you don't agree.

The Canon sd1200 is top-of-the-line in its class. Its current price is $199. If you watch the price closely it'll probably be discounted further to somewhere around $180.
