Default need for real estate and senior cameras

I'm trying to find out what best camera for two different people.

I need an ultra wide for interior real estate, construction shots.

the 2nd camera I'm looking for is GOOD digital camera with large buttons for my 85 year old mother. She's been using canons and sonys and does photographic art.

Real Estate: my first thought went to the Panasonic ZS1. However, it has a terrible built in flash unit. As an alternative, you might find the Kodak P-880 (24mm lens in 35mm terms or Nikon had a 24 mm lens model as well if I recall correctly, it was the 8800 model. Both the Kodak and the Nikon are out of production, so the search would be for used cameras.

A big button camera: You might look at the Canon A-480. It is pretty simplified, but I am not exactly sure about button size. If you are looking for buttons the size you might find on the Jitterbug cellphone, the A-480's buttons are not that large.

Have a great day.

If you don't mind an ultracompact form factor, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, and Panasonic all have models with extra wide angle zoom, so lots of nice choices there.

For a fumble proof cam, the Canon E1 looks nice to me, may be hard to find though.

Default another choice

I would probably go for the Panasonic mentioned by Sarah, but here is another choice, the Samsung HZ15W.
