Here in the USA, the Kodak Z-950 has been introduced as the replacement camera for the Kodak Z-1012. The Z-950 has 12mp in place of the 10mp on the Z-1012. Several reviews have been published and they are both very positive.

It appears that the Z-950 is even more high ISO capable than the Z-1012, which is another positive for the new camera. Perhaps it is worth a look in your current camera search.

Have a great day.

Hi Sarah,

Thank you. I indeed have factored in the Z950 into my search but the lack of a viewfinder is steering me away. I have yet to purchase my camera, as we are having a camera fair at the end of this month, so I shall wait and see if there are any bargains or good deals.

Took my girlfriend out yesterday and we went around looking at cameras. Had a feel for the FZ35 and its looking good. Will wait for the fair, in no hurry

And also, thank you and appreciate it that you took the effort to check up and reply in this thread about the Kodak
