Default sony dsc-hx1, nikon coolpix p90, olympus sp 565 uz, or casio elixim ex-fh20?

I need some help selecting a new camera. I take a lot of action shots and these are some of the cameras I have been looking at. I'm not in search of something really fancy and I'm trying to stay out of the SLR zone so some help with choosing a camera would be nice.
I am very interested in continuous shooting. I love how the sony can shoot at 10fps with 9MP, unfortunately it can only take 10 photos at that rate. The nikon can take photos at 15fps but only if it is set at 3MP or less. Does anyone know if it can shoot at a higher resolution if it is set at a lower fps? The olympus can shoot at 6fps while still using 5MP, is that enough to make a clear picture. The nice thing about the olympus is that it will continue for 25 shots and over four seconds rather than sony's one second. The olympus also will take 12MP photos where the sony can only take 9.1MP photos. Will this make a difference, I do not plan on making any posters with my photos.
If you know anything about these cameras and can offer any help with my choice, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
