Default Buying a camera

I am looking for a SLR camera just for my hobby. I am looking for Canon EOS T1i and Nikon D90. I could not decide which one to buy, my budget is $800. Can you please suggest me which one to buy?

Welcome to the Forum. We're delighted that you dropped by.

Your budget fits well with the Canon T-1 price. But the budget will be pressed big time with the Nikon D-90. I have seen refurbished Nikon D-90 that will fit your budget, but not brand new.

Both cameras are excellent and both have high ISO capabilities. In large part, the image quality of a DSLR camera is dependent on the lenses used. Was your plan to begin with the 18-55mm kit lens that comes with the camera, and then later to add the needed lenses?

Remember that a DSLR camera along with several lenses can create a rather large kit to carry about.

Have a great day.
