Default Pocket Camcorder

Im not sure if this question belongs here in these forums, but I bought my first real camera based on advise from here and it has been a wonderful buy!!! (FZ38....)

I am now looking for one of those pocket camcorder thingies.... Id like to have a few features:
  1. Easy to use so that even the kids can enjoy
  2. ability to record at least 1 hour of video
  3. have a simple video format I can just transfer and view/edit on my pc
  4. ability to plug into a tv for direct viewing
  5. decent battery
Anyone have any info on these gadgets?

Ideas, personal experiences??
Canon 60D ¦ EF 50 II ¦ EF-S 18-135 ¦ Canon 100-400 L
