Hi guys. Thought I would keep you updated. Got my K-x delivered today, box was a little bashed but everything seems to be in working order. Updated my firmware to V1.1 and had a little mess about, Didn't really get to play with it much as I had a college induction.

Ordered myself a SanDisk 4GB Extreme card, couple of lens filters, cleaning kit, a cheapo Ebay hood for the moment till I get paid, screen protector and Sanyo Eneloop batteries with charger (only came to 9 so I'm not sure if it's some sort of fakes but I'll see when I get them).

Took a couple photos of my 6 month old Golden Retriever, Riley just for test purposes.

Really excited to start learning how to use this properly. On the look out for a camera bag, Been looking at Lowepro Slingshot 102AW / 202AW if anyone has had experience with Lowepro would be nice to hear from you.

Thanks for your never ending patience it's appreciated,

get the hoods from ebay, the pentax ones are like 40 dollars vs. 13 on ebay

search ph-rba and ph-rbb and you should find your hoods.
