Default Confused! Sony Hx1 vs Panasonic Fz100 vs Nikon P100

Hi! I'm looking for a camera primarily for photographing my busy kiddos at play. I'd like one for under $400 that is fast and ideally offers continuous shooting and will work well in low-light. As a graphic designer, I have a picky eye for images, but no real photo experience. Thus, a camera that is easy to use and produces crisp, clear, vibrant images is most important. I've narrowed by search to the Sony Hx1 and Panasonic Fz100, or even possibly the Nikon P100. Any thoughts on which would best meet our family's needs? Thank you.

None of these will work well in low-light so you may want to relinquish that requirement or choose another class of cameras with larger sensors and brighter lenses.

Sticking with this class though, I'd recommend the FZ100, Canon SX30 or if you don't mind losing the 1080p video and a little zoom, the Panasonic FZ35/38.
Disclaimer: I take photos of life rather than live to take photos and my opinions of cameras are reflected accordingly.
