Default I hope not a mistake

After LOADS of brain dragging, i finalized on the Fz40 and have ordered it. It'll reach me hopefully by 18th.

I do occasionally shoot high speed (water drops) but after reading it from a lot of places, I came in terms with the fact that a CCD sensor beats a CMOS in low light.

Comparing HX1 and Fz40, would this hold? I have ordered but now i have started to have second thoughts

Well only you can ultimately make that decision, but I think you made the right choice.

My brother has the FZ40 and really likes it.

The Casios (FH20, FH25, and FH100) are the champions of point and shoot burst modes, but you might be sacrificing other things that you value if you got one of those.

Enjoy your new camera!
