Default stay upgrade or something different

primary use is working camera for table top photography with special need for macro photography with shooting of very tiny hallmarks. use a Canon G9 b/c lenses and filters are an option when needed. also use a Pentax Optio T30 for quick shots -- very much like touch screen

considering -- Canon DMC-GF3 -- concerns are lenses and filters adaptability OR Nikon P500 -- 36X lens OR other suggestions -- requirements are macro photography and 3+ LED screen -- prefer no view finder and would like touch screen if possible

bottom line is that lighting is probably thing that I need to invest in most with light box, etc. -- any thoughts on using a light ring, etc.?

Canon GF3..? Don't you mean Panasonic...?
Maybe look at the Canon G11/12 with 1cm Macro and tilt/swivel screen...
