Default computer (remote) controlled camera

Hi folks:

I'm looking for an inexpensive camera that can be controlled via the computer. This will be mounted on the ceiling to capture images of artwork to help customers visualize the final product for framing purposes. I would like to have zooms and focus capabilities, but it doesn't need to be super high-end by any means. I think the older Canon cameras could be controlled remotely, but I don't think any of the newer ones can.

I would have nothing against buying something used either if somebody knows of an older model that could do this. I am just not up on the latest and greatest when it comes to consumer cameras.
