Default Help!!!Choosing cameras

Hello everyone, I am new here. I need your help on choosing between the Fujifilm hs30 and the Canon sx-40. I am also wondering why the Canon costs less the the hs30. Thank you in advance.

With regards cost- the Canon is less expensive simply due to the fact it has been out for some months now, whereas the Fuji is a pretty new model.
What would assist your decision is to try out the two models,if possible- as they're very different in their layout/operation/feel/handling.
If you shoot video quite a bit- you may prefer the typical lever activated zoom on the SX40- giving smoother results. However, for stills capture, the manual zoom of the Fuji allows for instant and accurate composition- much better in my opinion.

According to me Fujifilm hs30 much better than Canon sx-40 because Fujifilm has many good features. Canon costs less than Fujifilm because Fujifilm is new model and its connectivity, battery description and screen is better than canon. That's why Fuji is much better. So you can choose Fuji.
