Default What should I buy?

Hey guys, I am new to dslrs, but have used them before, I have a budget of around $1500 for a camera and lens. I was looking around and I have come to the Nikon D7000 with a kit lens, a Canon 60D with an 18-135 and 55-250, or a Nikon d5100 with 18-55 and a 55-300...what should I get? Other suggestions are nice. Budget:1500

The D7000 and the D5100 both use the same 16MP sensor, so you won't see much difference in image quality. The D7000 is a better, more professional camera, as is the 60D.

What do you want to shoot?
  • The lens is the thing.
  • 'Full Frame' is the new 'Medium Format'.

When you buy a DSLR you buy into a system so make sure that system suits your needs, don't settle for i will get used to it.
Get a short list and go and try them if it feels right then that goes a long way to being right.
