Default Which Camera? A4000 or Elph110 or Other

I'm looking for a good point and shoot camera. Probably around $150-$190 or so.

I'm looking at the Canon A4000 and Elph110. The elph is $10 more. Is it worth the extra $10? I see the a4000 does have 8x zoom while the elph is 5x. I see the a4000 wide angle is 24mm and 28mm for elph. Elph is CMOS, A4000 is CCD (does it matter?).

Anyway, they both seem fairly close. I really just want to know which takes the best image quality. Especially for outdoor shots.

Maybe you should also consider the Panasonic SZ7. Its optical zoom is 10x, has a CMOS sensor, 25mm wide angle, panorama mode, Full HS video recording. It's also about the same size and weight as the 110 HS. The best of all? At $ 130 (in the USA), it's a real bargain.
