Like the title says. I'm having twins, so I need to replace my old point and shoot. I have a T1i that I'm really happy with, I just need something that will fit in my pocket when I don't feel like hauling around a camera bag. I like the S100/S110, but it's more than I want to spend. I also like the XZ-1, but it looks a lot bigger than what I want. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Some additional information: - Video is very important - I'd like to keep it under $300 - Good low light performance is important |

I own the XZ-1- and whilst I think it's a great camera, with a fast lens across the zoom range- I wouldn't recommend it for video use. It's primarily a photo only cam- and very good at it- very good indeed..!
The S100 is a very nice little camera, with good IQ and certainly is pocketable.... A review with some pic/video samples... http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/Ca...00/index.shtml Another option would be Panasonic's LX5...(though video only in mono audio...) http://www.cameralabs.com/reviews/Pa...Lumix_DMC_LX5/ Bearing in mind that the newer S110 and the LX7 are now out- you might find the prices of the S100/LX5 dropping.... |

Thanks, it sounds like the S100 may be my best bet. Hopefully there will be some Black Friday deals to be found, since the S110 is out.
