Default macroshot imaging in dark area

hi everyone,
Actually I am going to capture skin images (skin ulcers); so, I am looking for a digital camera which can satisfy the following requirements:
1-macroshot imaging
2-suitable in low light or dark area (1.4 or 1.8 aperture size) with ring flash
would you please kind enough and let me know I should go for a compact camera or a DSLR one.
please introduce the best suitable choice.

A ring flash or (especially) a ring light makes the large aperture unnecessary. That's a good thing because a large apertrue may give you DoF problems.

Get whatever camera you can hang a ring light on.
  • The lens is the thing.
  • 'Full Frame' is the new 'Medium Format'.
