Default Help With Compact Camera

I have narrowed my choices to the following:
Fuji x20
Panasonic lx7
Nikon 7700
Canon g15

Although I'm leaning toward the top two, I am still very undecided. I will be using this camera in addition to and/or in place of my DSLR. I am not a professional photographer, but might be described as an enthusiast who knows the way around a camera.....just can't make a decision and hope someone can assist me.

Thank you.

Of the four,I'd probably lean towards the top two also- though they all have their pro's and con's...

If you're looking for a speedy operator- with fast AF and shot to shot times (never mind the speed that a manual zoom gives you...) then the Fuji would be the strongest of the four here- also, you have the best viewfinder on offer here.

The LX7 is certainly the most compact of the four- again with speedy autofocus, impressive movie capture- and a rather impressive f/1.4 lens.

The G15 and the P7700 both offer DSLR users a similar level of functionality and buttons galore for quick adjustments- and faster lenses than their predecessors- in addition to a longer focal range....

All four are very nice camera's and I wish I was in your position of being able to choose- though like you, I might be struggling to make a final decision...!!

Thank you Simon40. Read all the reviews and am still leaning toward the Panasonic and the Fuji. However, I am still having trouble deciding. I went to the camera store and actually looked at both cameras. It's hard not to be drawn to the retro look of the Fuji, but the 1.4 lens of the panasonic is pretty appealing. Probably the two most important things for me are fast auto focusing and high ISO shooting.
