Default DLSR Camera for 1080 HD Videos?

I am looking for a digital camera primarily for shooting HD video which will be uploaded to youtube, with some photography on the side.

I am still in the beginning phases of my research, but it seems a DLSR camera might be a good route to consider. There seem to be several drawbacks with DLSR for video recording such as:

•Limited to 29-30 minutes of contiguous footage at a time.
•Storage space for video

The above are a somewhat big concern because for the type of footage I will be recording, I might want to record for 2 hours or more.

Given my needs, would it make sense to purchase a DLSR camera, or might there be a better option? DLSR seems to have the ability to achieve great results "out of the box", although admittedly some post production work will still probably be required to get the most out of the camera.

I have been looking specifically at the Canon eos rebel t5i at the moment.

Thank you so much for your time and valued feedback.
