Best small camera

Hi

Could anyone advise me what is the best small camera for under £250 ($400).

I ideally want a point & shoot camera I can carry around in my pocket when on holiday, preferably with 3X optical zoom and one that takes clear and true colour pictures.

I have been looking at Minolta XG, Canon SD200, Canon SD300, Pentax Optio S, Casio EX-S100.

Anyadvise on the above cameras or any recommendations of others not mentioned herewould be greatly appreciated.
