I plan on buying a camera from Minolta's Dimage 'G' series after seeing the impressive prints produced by my brother's G400.

The question is, do I go for the tried and tested G400, the more recent G530, which apart from the resolution appears to be identical to the G400, or the G600 with its slightly different specs? I've read favourable reviews of the G400 and G600, but very little information is available on the G530. I'm particularly interested to know how the noise levels compare between the three cameras. I've looked at the sample images on the KM home page, and the G400 sample images are less noisy than the G530 and G600 ones.

The last thing I want to do is buy the G530 or G600 only to find the final image quality is worse than the G400. Resolution isn't everything, after all.
