:bye:I've decided to buy the A95. Does anyone have recommendations for a reputable online retailer? I would like to get a package deal that includes a 512MB memory card, NiMh batteries, charger, carrying case, etc. I know buying online is risky, but the prices are probably better than at my local stores. Any help will be greatly appreciated:G:G.

Thank you

If you want to buy online then I'd just use Ebay. They have many package deals.

You're probably better off buying the accessories separately.

Most of the "package deals" you see are using pretty cheap accessories (with "list prices" shown at drastically inflated prices to make it look like you're getting agreat deal). These typically come with slow "no name" memory cards, cheap chargers and batteries, etc.

I'd use the price search engines here to find the best deals. Make sure to buy from a "Trusted Store" with lots of good customer reviews (vendors have been known to "pad" their own reviews, so I'd avoid new vendors or vendors with a small number of reviews).

You may also want to read customer feedback for any vendor you consider at http://www.resellerratings.com

Here is a sample price search for the A95:

Here is some good information on batteries and chargers:

This is a no brainer! go to B&H.

I would skip Ebay....why would you ever want to send money to stranger and hope that you get what you want in the condition described. Buy from the most reputable dealer around and have no fear. If you don't like the product, they have a very liberal return policy with -0- restocking fees.
