I am new to digital cameras but love to take pictures for scrapbooking. I want a compact camera - please help me decide

I really like to Casio Z30 and Z40 because of the compact size and also the large lcd screen size but am concerned overnumerous postings of poor picture quality.

I also like the coolpix 3700 for the price (i found it offered for $132 after $100 rebate) but was told by a camera shop that this camera is being discontinued. Is this a problem? I would be able to get this camera along with a 512mb digital card, extra rechargeable lithiam ion battery, usb reader secure digital, mini tripod and carrying case for the same cost as the Z40 camera alone.

Any comparisions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about the 3700 being discontinued, but if you can get it in an awesome deal like that, why not? A friend of mine had the 3200, and she very much enjoyed it. I'd reccomend checking the reviews on this site regarding picture quality of both.
