Hello All,

I'm on the verge of buying the Canon A95 and was wondering if there is any camera in the similar spec and price range that rivals it. I'm looking for

full aperture control
full shutter speed control
aperture priority mode
shutter priority mode
exposure control
iso control
white balance control
full manual control and a good auto setting
manual focus is a bonus too.

And great picture quality of course!

I'm going travelling in May and want to get the camera in the next week or so, so i can really get to grips with it before i go.

I plan to take a mixture of regualr holiday snaps (ie auto mode) and also some more artistic shots using full manual function.

The A95 seems to meet all these criteria, but i just wanted to know if any of you know of a camera which has a better spec but still lies within the smae price range and size range - maybe the Canon s60?

Thank you very much.

You might look at the Sony V1 and the Fuji E550. The Nikon 5400 gives you a bit more zoom. The V1 and 5400 also have metal bodies and a hotshoe, if you want that sort of thing....
