Hi there!

I now own a point-n-shoot camera, a Minolta F200 which is a nice camera to use (for my girlfriend).
The reason I want a new camera is that we travel a lot and that I'm missing lot's of manual control.
So I've looked at several cameras, which leaves me with the KM A2,Nikon 8800, Panasonic FZ20
The A2 seems to be a nice camera (I like the zoom-ring and the 28mm lens!), but in several reviews the camera doesn't score to good in image quality (which is the most important). The 8800 seems also nice to me (especially the large zoom factor, but unfortunately it doesn't has a lens that goes to 28mm, slow performance). The Panasonic is also a zoom digicam, but only has 5mp.
What should I choose. Or should I wait for the successor of the A2 (not the A200 of course!).

Thanks for your advice!
