What are your thoughts on the JVC MC200 and MC500 digital/video cameras?

The MC200 comes with a 2 megapixel capability and a tapeless media (it records to a hard disk in MPEG2 via USB or a card reader).

This is the MC500 which is very similar to the MC200 except its black and has a little more features around the camera. The flash seems to be in a better position than the 200.

Now this is the GR-X5 :

It is just as small as the MC500, but has a mini DV to record movies to. It has the same capacity photo taking features, just the video is different.

It seems like the MC200/500 are more like digital cameras, whereas the GR-X5 is more like a video camera.

Attached is an image taken with the MC500 with its 5 megapixel resolution (I reduced the size a bit as the original was 1.8mb).

Which one would you pick and why.
