Hi, which would be the best for a non-pro the Canon Digital Rebel XT or EOS 20D? is it true that the canon rebel xt doesn't have a manual focus? will that limit a lot of my options of learning photography? other than that, it seems that the main difference is that the 20d has a faster shutter speed, and its heavier. i got most of my info from this cnet comparison: http://reviews.cnet.com/4540-6501_7-...4.html?tag=tab

On Canon EOS cameras the focus motor and manual focus control is in the lenses.
All EF lenses have a little switch on the side that turns off autofocus and switches them to manual. The more expensive lenses with ring USM drives have full time manual override where you can just grab the focus ring and adjust it without switching to manual first. Peter. |
