Since my Casio R4 got the notorious "Lens error" some months ago, I have been searching the web for a new camera.
I need my camera nearly daily (small and durably), since I am in web design, however sometimes I do printing work as well so it should have at least 5 million pixel. I also have to do small videos – so avi and a micro would be helpful. And oh my little two-year old daughter is quite quick, so the camera should be quick too.

During the last weeks I narrowed my choice between the Canon ixus 700 and the Nikon coolpix 7900. Also the SonyCyberShot Dsc-w5 sounds very interesting, however I would like to use my memory cards of the casio .
A week ago I fount the Rollei dp8300, that seems to have quite some of the features I am looking for, also the prize seems to be very reasonable. Unfortunately I can find anywhere a review for this Rollei model, its probably too new...

Does someone have experiences with this or a similar Rollei ?

I appreciate any help
